Three-day aviation festival August 9, 10 & 11 including a Friday Twilight Show (afternoon/evening) followed by two Daytime Shows on Saturday & Sunday. The 2024 event will be headlined by the following military performers: Canadian Forces Snowbirds, RCAF CF-18 Hornet Demo Team, & US Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team. Civilian performers include Scratch Mitchell (T-33 Silver Star), Melissa Burns (Edge 540), Kyle Fowler (LongEZ), Bob Carlton (Twin-Jet Foxtail Sailplane), historic warbirds, and additional military performers. The Friday night twilight show will include twilight and “after-dark” aerial performances, including pyrotechnics and an LED drone show.
In addition to aerial performances, the Airshow features 14-acres of ground entertainment and attractions including our premium seating venues, food trucks, static aircraft displays, and family activities. The ground attractions will once again feature the interactive Aviation-S.T.E.M. Zone which offers hands-on activities and exhibits for youth showcasing the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math involved in aviation. The Airshow will also help mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force with a variety of RCAF displays in the air and on the ground.

Walk Beside Us in learning about Truth and Reconciliation, and the history of Residential Schools.
Stetís ímexstowx (Stah tee-ss ee-mehx-sst-owwhx) – This meaningful phrase translates to “walk beside us” in the beautiful Halq’eméylem language.
Our local civic organizations have united around Thunderbird Square with a common goal – to create a space for learning and understanding. We’re walking together to share learning opportunities for the public about Truth and Reconciliation, as well as the history of Residential Schools.
Join us on this journey as we come together to build a deeper awareness of our roles in the path to Reconciliation.
Free event, everyone is welcome!
