We will be gathering on the traditional, ancestral, unceded, and shared territories of the Stó:lō People, specifically in the Sem’a:th (Sumas), Mathxw’i (Matsqui) and Leq’a:mel (Mission) First Nations. This is also the lodging home of the Fraser Valley Métis Association.

This weekly gathering circle is made possible by the partnerships with the Mamele’awt Indigenous Education Centre and Metis Nation BC (MNBC) and our volunteers’ generous and dedicated support.

Light snacks, coffee and tea are provided. Help save the land and lend a hand by BYOM (Bringing Your Own Mug).

Come experience authentic Argentine tango at the Matsqui Community Hall on Wednesdays starting January 8th, 2025. We’ll teach a beginner-friendly lesson and continue with some social dancing.

Youth Night is a non-competitive, co-ed recreation program for all youth ages 12-16. The main purpose of Youth Night is to encourage youth to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle through exercise and play. Our Youth Nights provide youth with the opportunity to try new sports and activities in a fun atmosphere with no pressure to perform. No skill is required, just the willingness to try.

Each Youth Night program includes 8 weeks of fun activities around the city of Abbotsford for youth ages 12-16. Depending on the course, activities may include VRkade, pool, yoga, bowling, golf, laser tag, ping pong, and much more! The group size will be about 20 youth with 2 of our staff as the leaders of the group.

Cost: $50

Start the day with a super fun magic show by Norden the Magician at the Clearbrook Library at 11 AM. Then, be sure to check out the puppet show and workshop by Literacy Matters at The Reach, with live show times at 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM. Also at The Reach, enjoy an incredible story walk by Abbotsford Children’s Theatre. At 1 PM and 2 PM, narrators will bring the story to life dramatically and engagingly!

Plus, there will be many family activities, contests, prize draws and treats at both locations throughout the day!

Stop The Bleed

Stop The Bleed will teach participants to identify deadly bleeding with practical hands on usage of tourniquets chest seals and wound packing and the various medical devices available to suit these tasks.

Created by the American College of Surgeons Stop The Bleed is highly recommended for all outdoor enthusiasts recreational shooters hunters and anyone who spends time away from highly accessible EMS.
