In celebration of Welcome Week here in Abbotsford, we’re excited to be hosting a Welcome Day Picnic for newcomer youth and their families! From 1:30-3:30PM on Sep. 20, newcomer youth and local youth can bring their families along to enjoy a wonderful picnic with hotdogs (including halal and veggie options), fruit, veggies, Banter ice cream, McDonald’s lemonade, and cookies from Pastry Portal.⁠

Our free, family-friendly event will bring together newcomers and long-time residents of Abbotsford to share food, play games, and connect through conversation and cultural exchange.⁠
