Join us at the Diabetes Canada Lace Up to End Diabetes 5km walk. Someone in Canada is diagnosed with diabetes every 3 minute. Help us to raise money for Diabetes Canada so they can continue to support Canadians through education, research, D-Camps for kids and support for diabetes professionals.

The event is taking place at Rotary Stadium at the Abbotsford Exhibition Park. 

Before the walk starts, between 5pm and 6pm you will be able to:

-enjoy music

-check out the silent auction

-visit the Photo Booth 

-visit the kid zone for face painting and other fun stuff

-have some snacks or drinks at the hydration and nutrition stations

-visit our sponsored stations

The walk starts just before sunset at 6:30pm, after prizes, announcement of silent auction winners, speeches and a short warm up. Don’t forget to bring your glow! This can be through lights, glow sticks, etc. Let’s light the sky blue for diabetes.

Registration is open now. Anyone registered and present at the walk will be eligible for some amazing prizes from local businesses. You can register as an individual, join a team, start a team or donate to the cause if you can’t make it to the event. Use the link to check out the website and get registered.
