Join us to celebrate Canada Day in Abbotsford on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

Our community celebration begins with the “Lights, Camera, Canada Day!” Parade along South Fraser Way, followed by a Family Festival at Abbotsford Exhibition Park with family-friendly activities, community showcase, marketplace, food trucks, and live entertainment. Our celebration ends with a fireworks finale presented by Fraser Valley Auto Mall!

ACCESSIBILITY

The City of Abbotsford, in partnership with Tourism Abbotsford, is introducing new and improved access and accessibility features to this year’s Canada Day celebration to ensure a more inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Returning this year is the sensory-friendly zone, operated by the Canucks Autism Network, which is open to all ages from 1-7 p.m.

Additional accessible enhancements include:

  • 75% of on-site washrooms are accessible, with accessible portable washrooms also available along the parade route;
  • Multi-lingual volunteers available on site for assistance;
  • Designated drop-off and pick-up zones for people with mobility challenges, and;
  • Complementary wheelchairs available on site.

PARADE

11:00 AM Parade Start

The Canada Day Parade starts at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 and proceeds down South Fraser Way from Bourquin Crescent, down Trethewey Street, and ends at W.J. Mouat Secondary School on Mouat Drive.

This year’s parade is themed Lights, Camera, Canada Day! Bring your favourite movie moments to life and be part of the show.

FAMILY FESTIVAL

Starts at 1:00 PM at Abbotsford Exhibition Park

The Canada Day Family Festival starts at 1:00 PM at Abbotsford Exhibition Park and will include interactive fun for all ages:

Celebrate Abbotsford’s farming roots in the Agri-Fun Zone! Hop on a tractor ride, explore farm-themed games, and learn more about local agriculture through hands-on, kid-friendly activities.

Get moving in the Sports Zone! Try your hand at interactive games, mini challenges, and sports activities for all ages. It’s the perfect place to burn off energy and test your skills in a fun, family-friendly environment.

Canada Day Main Stage

The Canada Day Main Stage, programmed by the Abbotsford Arts Council, will showcase performances by local musicians, dancers, and cultural programming.

BAWAH, a name that carries the weight of culture, and personal transformation. Born in Ghana and raised between the UK and Western Canada, BAWAH exists between many worlds, his spirit anchored by the rich traditions of his birthplace, yet shaped by the ebb and flow of life far from home.

BAWAH’s Afro-fusion sound is unmistakably his own. Transcending traditional boundaries and defying categorization with his unique blend of influences, spanning Afro, Pop, Hip-hop, Alternative, and Electronic genres.

In 2025, BAWAH will pour his soul into one monumental project: MAUVEY TO A BAWAH. This project is a symphony of creative expression. A four-part album series, a film series spanning 48 episodes, and a 48-chapter book.

Elijah Blond is a multi-genre singer/songwriter born in Vancouver, B.C. Raised in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, 27-year old Elijah has been honing his skills as a musician since the age of 10.

Learning to play instruments at a young age, he then began producing and developing full tracks at 17 and has continued to develop his unique sound building an intersection between contemporary r&b, folk, and hip-hop. Elijah began his climb with the release of his biggest single “Silk”, following up with a series of well received singles sending his streams into the millions. He continued his climb collaborating with artists such as Boslen and Cody Lawless and honing the sound of his live shows with his 6 piece band. Today he boasts over 50 million streams on Spotify with his songs reaching fans all over the world.

The della kit (FKA Erica Dee) is a versatile artist—vocalist, songwriter, DJ, producer, and sound therapy facilitator—whose music blends genres with a focus on healing and empowerment. She has performed alongside icons like Mos Def, Lil’ Kim, and ?uestlove while touring Morocco, Europe and Brazil. Her debut album moonbeams + frequencies (Art Haus, 2022) combines R&B, Jazz, and Funk, exploring themes of healing and self-love while earning over 500K streams worldwide. In 2025, della is slowly releasing “Self Love Meditation Mixtape Vol. 1” her first fully self-composed and produced project. Featured by CBC, Much Music, and Range Magazine, she’s performed at Juno Fest, Toronto Jazz Fest, and toured with Son Little, DJ Shadow & The Halluci Nation. With a continually evolving sound and a commitment to transformation through music, the della kit is shaping the future of Alternative R&B.

40K is a DJ and producer who loves bringing people together through music. Over the years, he’s had the chance to work with a wide range of Punjabi and English artists, building a sound that’s all about connection and good energy. Along with original collaborations, 40K puts his own spin on house music with remixes that light up the dancefloor. Whether he’s DJing live or working in the studio, 40K’s focus is always on creating moments that people remember.

At 25 years of age, Cambree Lovesy is boldly establishing her name in country music.  The five foot firecracker from Abbotsford, B.C. brings an infectious energy with her onto every stage, and into every room she enters.  Cambree’s powerhouse vocals paired with her authentic storytelling set her and her music apart as the perfect blend of old-school and modern country.  Cambree has over a decade of performing under her belt, and has had opportunities to showcase at the CN Grey Cup in Edmonton, The Local Nashville, Cook County Saloon, Rogers Arena, The Roxy, BC Place, Gabby’s Country Cabaret, and many more venues across North America, including opening for acts such as Dallas Smith, Chilliwack, and Tenille Arts.
