Unearthing The Vanished explores the rarely told experiences of Mennonite families during Stalin’s Great Terror.
The curators of the exhibit will be on hand for guidance.

From
1937 to 1938, Stalin unleashed the Great Terror, a genocide that ended the lives of hundreds of thousands, including 9,000 Mennonites.
The Mennonite Heritage Museum at 1818 Clearbrook Road was founded on the need to remember and to honour.
From May 5 to September 26, the Museum will feature the display “Unearthing the Vanished: Mennonite Experiences in Stalin’s Great Terror” in remembrance of those who were taken.
Admission is free.
