We will teach a full introduction on how to get started with your sewing Machine, how to make a beautiful accessory for yourself , all in a relaxed environment. In our “Introduction to Sewing” class, you’ll learn the essential steps to Sew a Zippered Bag or Handbag. This session is designed for beginners as well as more advanced makers that want to practice new techniques.

Whether you’re new to sewing or want a refresher, I will guide you step-by-step through the process to create a full project .

You will make a Zippered Bag or a Handbag.

By the end of class, you’ll walk away with a completed garment or accessories and newfound sewing skills!

Workshop Details

This Introductory to Sewing class will also review all the steps to handle a sewing machine.

After completion of this class, you will confidently be able to:

– thread a sewing machine and wind a bobbin.- feed the fabric through, sew in a straight line and turn corners. , sew a hem – explore the range of features and stitches on the machine.- troubleshoot common errors and be aware of them!- sew different types of seams- Use the pins, cutting your fabric properly- read patterns instruction of simple projects .
