From the warm, velvety tones of the clarinet section to virtuosic solos by guest soloist

Gene Ramsbottom, that captivate and inspire, the clarinet takes centre stage in a

performance that highlights its versatility and central role in the wind ensemble tradition.

Gene, a distinguished Canadian clarinetist, educator and arts advocate, has performed

as a chamber musician and soloist in Canada, England, France, Germany, Israel,

China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States and Ireland. He is the senior-most

clarinet teacher in British Columbia’s history.

The performance is on Sunday May 25 at 2:00 pm at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium in

Abbotsford. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Adults $20. Seniors / Children $15. Or
